This position is for a SCA Material Coordinator working in the Air Traffic Control Division (ATC). The selected candidate will be assisting multiple projects which will require procurement, warehousing, transportation and supply oriented support. The selected candidate must be a self-motivated individual with experience in purchase planning, supplier research and selection, value analysis, a wide array of supply practices, and extensive data entry skills. The selected individual will be working with government customers, BAE Systems employees, and other contractors. Responsibilities will include the coordination of material movements and the proper care of government and BAE Systems material. Duties for this position will include physical exertion such as lifting (no more than 40lbs), stooping, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, and climbing ladders. Hazardous materials are part of the work environment. The selected candidate will be required to adhere to the BAE Systems Safety rules and regulations. This could include the proper use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and other forms of safety instruments. Current CDL-A is required for this position. The hourly rate is set by the Department of Labor at $29.27 and is non-negotiable. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
