Overview **Minimum of two years experience in nursing, preferably with experience in critical care or transplantation.** Hours: Mon-Fri | 8am - 4:30pm Ensures coordination and continuity of patient care for transplant patients in order to maintain organized and efficient care and provide support to staff and other health care professionals. Responsible for identifying the patient's alterations in health; assessing the patient's response to treatment protocols; communicating appropriate data to physician staff; implementing nursing interventions based upon established treatment protocols; and anticipating potential outcomes for patients at risk for complications. Must demonstrate ability to assess data reflective of the patient's age, status, and diagnosis, and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs and organ(s) transplanted and provide care according to protocols and within practice of nursing.
