Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description This is a fast-paced position in an Adult Emergency Department (ED) that serves a diverse patient population and manages over 100,000 visits annually. The facility operates as a Level I trauma center and deals with a high volume of patients, including those requiring specialized care. Nurses will assist with boarder patients, ensuring quality and timely treatment within the ED. Work Schedule Position involves rotating shifts during day, evening, and night hours. Registered Nurses may be required to float to different units and work on weekends, holidays, or be available for on-call duties as necessary. Job Requirements • Current RN License in New York State • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the Emergency Department • Telemetry experience is required • Previous travel experience in an Emergency Department is mandatory Certifications • BLS (American Heart Association only) • ACLS (American Heart Association only) • NIHSS Certification Location Position located in a facility situated in New York.
