Registered Nurse (RN) Location Bowling Green, KY Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Orthopedic and Medical Surgical unit. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care and will be responsible for managing a patient load while utilizing teamwork strategies. Unit Information • Number of Beds: 30 in Orthopedics, 37 in Medical Surgical • Patient Ratios: Typically 6:1 • Staffing Description: Utilization of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) and Surgical Nurses (SNEs) in tech roles, along with unit secretaries during day shifts. • Documentation System: Meditech • Scheduling Requirements: Schedules are created on a month-long basis, and full-time staff are required to work 4 weekend shifts per month. • Floating Policy: Staff may float to various inpatient units and assist with tasks in Critical Care Unit (CCU) and Emergency Department (ED). • Patient Experience Requirements: All levels of experience are welcome to apply. Qualifications • Required Skills: RN license, positive attitude, willingness to work hard, ability to manage a patient load, and commitment to providing excellent patient care. • Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is preferred. Dress Code Professionals are required to wear a scrub top and scrub bottoms. The following items are not permitted: fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters, shoes with holes, denim, and camo. Long sleeve shirts may be worn under the scrub top, and scrub jackets are allowed.
