CT Technologist Location Myrtle Beach, SC General Information • Number of Beds: 400 • Patient Ratios: Average of 180 CT exams per day using 3 scanners • Unit Staffing Description: 2 Techs per scanner during the day; Total of 3 techs overnight • Type of Equipment: GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice • Documentation System: Meditech • Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited; ACR accredited in CT Responsibilities • Perform routine CT exams for emergency and inpatient cases, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA. • Operate GE CT equipment independently and efficiently. • Deliver compassionate and patient-centered care while performing diagnostic procedures. Qualifications • Years of Experience Required: At least 1 year of experience in a level 1 trauma setting • Requested Skill Set: Proficiency in operating GE CT equipment independently • Advanced Skills Needed: Ability to perform routine CT exams for various cases • Certifications Required: ARRT Radiography required; CT certification preferred Dress Code Charcoal grey uniform required.
