CT Technologist Location Myrtle Beach, SC General Information • Number of Beds: 400 • Patient Ratios: Average of 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners • Unit Staffing: 2 Technologists per scanner during the day, total of 3 Technologists for overnight shifts • Type of Equipment: GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice • Documentation System: Meditech • Patient Experience Requirements: Focus on Emergency Department and Inpatient procedures with a compassionate care model • Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited; CT – ACR accredited Hiring Profile • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in a Level 1 trauma setting • Requested Skill Set: Ability to independently operate GE CT equipment • Advanced Skills Needed: Proficiency in performing routine CT exams for all types of Emergency Department and Inpatient procedures, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA scans • Certifications Required: ARRT Radiography required; CT certification preferred Dress Code Charcoal grey uniform required.
