CT Technologist Location Myrtle Beach, SC General Information • Number of Beds: 400 • Average Patient Ratios: 180 CT exams per day with 3 scanners • Unit Staffing: 2 Technologists per scanner during the day; Total of 3 Technologists overnight • Equipment: GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice • Documentation System: Meditech • Patient Experience Requirements: Provide compassionate care in the ED and inpatient settings Unit Specifics • Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited; CT – ACR accredited Qualifications • Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in a level 1 trauma setting • Skill Set: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently • Advanced Skills: Perform routine CT exams for all types of emergency department and inpatient cases • Procedures: Routine CT exams including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA • Certifications: ARRT Radiography required; CT certification preferred Dress Code Required uniform: Charcoal grey Awards and Recognition • Voted top 100 hospitals for cardiovascular care • ACR accredited in MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography Additional Information Join a dynamic team in one of the most popular vacation destinations in the United States, offering a great work environment with experienced staff and modern technology.
