Travel Registered Nurse – NICU Unit Information Location: Denver, CO Number of Beds: 42 Number of Staff: 70 Shift Information • Day Shift: 1 CNC, 11-13 RNs, 1 unit coordinator • Night Shift: 1 CNC, 11-13 RNs, 1 unit coordinator Patient Care Information Patient Ratios: 3:1 Type of Equipment: • Incubators • NIPPV • High-flow nasal cannula • Low-flow nasal cannula • PIVs • Some Central Lines • Gastric tubes Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Neonatal Notes Manager Qualifications Must Have: • Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU experience • BLS and NRP certifications • Level III NICU experience Preferred: • Pediatric experience • Prior Meditech experience Procedures Performed on Unit • Circumcisions • ROP exams Ideal Candidate Profile • Compassionate and family-centered approach • Flexible and adaptable to circumstances • Reliable, accountable, and detail-oriented Work Environment This NICU offers a strong, positive culture that fosters a rewarding environment grounded in teamwork and exceptional family-centered care.
