• Lead and support unit managers, leads, estimators, and QA/QC teams in meeting production schedules, quality standards, and safety goals.
• Keep operating standards, processes, and communication consistent across all units and facilities.
• Represent operations in executive meetings, in strategic planning, and with key customers and vendors.
Budgeting, Supply Chain, and Resource Management
• Build and manage annual operating budgets, capital spending, P&L, and cost-control initiatives.
• Work with sales, estimating, and project management to match production capacity and staffing to the sales pipeline.

• Lead workforce planning, hiring, training, and development across operations teams.
Process Improvement, Compliance, and Safety
• Set and track operational KPIs, including throughput, on-time delivery, quality, safety incident rates, and labor efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to increase shop capacity and efficiency.
• Lead equipment, process, and facility upgrades to grow capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, UL 508A, OSHA, and applicable industry codes, and build a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
Required
• 8+ years of progressive operations or manufacturing leadership, including 3+ years in a senior role (Director, VP, or General Manager).
• A proven record of managing multiple business units, production lines, or facilities, with measurable performance gains.
• Experience with P&L management, budgeting, cost control, and applicable codes (NEC, UL 508A, OSHA).
• Direct experience in electrical prefabrication, industrial manufacturing, or construction services.
• Strong team-building, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Skill with ERP and production-tracking software and Microsoft Office.
Preferred
• A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or operations management, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
