Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Highland Park, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a telemetry/medical-surgical unit during day shift hours • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; must be able to pass an EKG competency assessment on the first day • Float to all MS/Telemetry units within the facility (up to 4 total units) as needed • Participate in an 8-hour classroom orientation followed by a unit-based orientation shift • Adhere to facility protocols, documentation standards, and patient safety guidelines Required Qualifications • Active Illinois RN License • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience • Must successfully pass an EKG competency test on the first day of assignment • New graduates are not eligible for this position • Must be able to submit: resume, 2 professional references, skills checklist, copies of certifications, license verification, and EKG test with passing score prior to start Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience floating across multiple medical-surgical or telemetry units • Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic telemetry environment with a supportive team across multiple units • Contract role offering flexibility with a defined 6-week engagement
