Job Title Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Location St. Petersburg, FL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Days | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 12-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities • Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room environment • Collaborate with surgical teams to support cardiovascular procedures and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical experience • Adhere to facility policies regarding scheduling, including rotation of every other weekend and holidays alongside hospital staff • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold established standards of care • Wear facility-designated scrub attire (Surgical Staff: Ciel Blue) in compliance with dress code policy Required Qualifications • Active RN licensure in the state of Florida or a compact state license • Minimum of 1 year of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience • Ability to fulfill travel contract requirements for a 12-week assignment with a projected start date in late October 2026 • Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays in accordance with facility policy Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical setting • Familiarity with large acute care hospital environments (facility has a 288-bed capacity) • Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into established surgical teams Why Join Us • Gain valuable experience in a busy acute care cardiovascular OR setting with a well-established surgical program • Opportunity to expand your travel nursing career with a structured 12-week contract in a desirable Florida location
