JPI is a full-service engineering, inspection, and management firm. We are seeking Engineers, Architects, or qualified FS 468.6 Building Inspectors, Plans Examiners, and Building Officials for both residential and commercial projects. Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities are available. If you have the experience, we will reimburse your expenses for the Building Inspector exam ($125 more or less). Location: West Region/ Hillsborough County Position: Inspector Requested Qualifications: A Florida (FS 468.6) license OR Professional Engineer OR Professional Architect. Multi Trade Certification is a PLUS, but not required. a) Expertise is sought in Mechanical, Plumbing, Building, and Electrical. b) Five years of prior experience required in Inspections or Construction. c) Ability to work independently and meet a daily deadline. d) Ability to complete building inspections according to Building Code. Denote whether work is approved, approved with comments, or not approved. e) Valid Driver\'s license with acceptable driving record required. f) Personal vehicle required. Ability to climb a ladder. No Computer knowledge necessary. Closing Date: Open until all has been filled NOTES: Ideal candidate will possess FS 468.6 licensure with experience.
