What you will actually do: • Serve as senior technical authority on the practice’s hardest AI problems — architecture review, failure diagnosis, feasibility judgment • Review and sign off on model and system designs before they reach production or client rooms • Untangle escalated failures: the model that drifted, the pipeline that lied, the forecast that missed for structural reasons Skills that matter: Deep ML mastery, Production system judgment, Technical review authority, Root-cause analysis on model and pipeline failures, Emerging-technique literacy (LLMs, multimodal, causal inference) with honest appraisal, Requirement documentation with usability and auditability in view.
