Prepare material take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects as part of Flex's architecture and engineering team. Responsibilities • Prepare material take-offs from planning documents and engineering drawings, and review those prepared by colleagues. • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for the components of systems and subsystems. • Collect, evaluate and document historical cost data to inform future estimates. • Prepare and review the final engineer's estimate. • Review contracts and amendments to establish the scope of work and assess fair cost allowances for changes. Experience and skills • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or a related field. • 0–3 years of relevant experience. • Very good knowledge of AutoCAD. • Ability to read construction documentation. • Very good written and spoken English. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
