Our state-of-the-art, air-conditioned CNC production facility in North Houston, TX, is currently seeking an experienced CNC Mill Programmer to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities • Program, set up, and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling centers. • Perform advanced CAD/CAM programming in Espirit and manual G-code/M-code edits at the control. • Read, interpret, and work from complex blueprints and engineering drawings. • Design and machine custom fixtures and workholding solutions for complex aerospace parts. • Select optimal cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials including aerospace alloys. • Conduct first-article inspections and routine quality control checks to meet strict aerospace standards. • Troubleshoot machine programs and setups to optimize cycle times and tool life. • Manage short-run and production runs for high-precision components. • Lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and stand for extended shifts. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Job Requirements • 5-6 years of hands-on experience programming and setting up multi-axis CNC milling machines in a precision shop environment. • Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code/M-code programming. • Proven track record of working with high-precision aerospace or defense components. • US Citizen or Green Card holder (required due to defense contract requirements). • Reliable transportation and a commitment to consistent punctuality.
