We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support to join our Technology Services Group (TSG) via our Data Solutions & Services Production Services SDG team. This role is located in NY/NJ. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: • Ensure the reliability, availability, resiliency, and performance of critical production platforms and distributed systems across on-premises and cloud environments, meeting defined service level objectives and business continuity requirements. • Develop and implement automation solutions using Java and Python to streamline monitoring, incident response, recovery processes, operational workflows, and platform health management. • Lead the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex production issues by performing deep-dive analysis across applications, Linux systems, databases, middleware, network infrastructure, and cloud services. • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and platform teams to design resilient architectures, strengthen observability, drive operational excellence initiatives, and continuously improve platform stability, scalability, recoverability, and disaster recovery readiness. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 6-10 years of experience. • Education/Experience requirement bullet point 1 (will be added by Recruiting as it aligns to grade level) • Extensive hands-on experience in software development, including designing, delivering, and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems using Java and Python. • Strong technical expertise in Linux systems administration, Oracle databases, SQL/PLSQL, and foundational computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems. • Proven experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing methodologies, and production support in fast-paced environments.
