Investment Data & Operations Senior Lead Life Insurance | New York, NY | Hybrid (3 Days in Office) The Opportunity An established life insurance organization is seeking an experienced investment operations professional to lead investment reference data, security master oversight, and operational governance across a complex investment platform. Key Responsibilities Lead security master and investment reference data operations across multiple asset classes Establish and enhance data governance standards, controls, and data quality monitoring processes Partner with business and technology stakeholders to support new product launches, portfolio changes, and platform enhancements Investigate and resolve data exceptions, operational issues, and control gaps Support system implementations, business transformation programs, and testing activities Drive process automation, operational improvements, and scalability initiatives Develop metrics, reporting, and governance frameworks to monitor operational effectiveness Maintain policies, procedures, and documentation supporting investment operations and data management What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Experience in investment operations, investment accounting, reference data, or securities operations Strong understanding of investment instruments, security master processes, and data governance practices Proven ability to collaborate across front, middle, and back-office functions Experience improving controls, automating processes, and supporting technology or data transformation initiatives Significant investment accounting experience, ideally within life insurance, annuities or the broader insurance sector. Experience with platforms such as ePAM, Aladdin, Clearwater or comparable systems; implementation or migration experience is a plus. Location & Compensation Location: New York, NY. Working model: Hybrid, three days per week in the office. Level: Senior Lead. Compensation: Competitive base salary and incentive compensation, commensurate with experience.
