Description Part-Time On-Air Talent / Brand Ambassador Are you passionate about connecting with people? Are you ready to get behind the mic and out into the community? Let's talk! Midwest Communications, Inc is looking for energetic and confident individual to join our Fargo team as Part-Time On-Air Talent & Brand Ambassadors across three of the area's favorite radio brands: Y94 (Top 40), 101.9 Jack FM (Adult Hits), and Froggy 99.9 (Country). This is your chance to do more than just talk on the radio. You'll connect with listeners, bring our brands to life at community events, and help create the experiences that keep people listening. We develop winners- many of our part-time on-air personalities have built successful careers right here within our stations. Your Responsibilities: • Be a natural communicator- know how to tell a story, entertain an audience, and make people feel like they’re part of the conversation. • Attend station and promotional events to strengthen the brand’s name in the Fargo community. • Assistance in the coordination of giveaways, contests, event-set-up, campaigns, live music, and more. • Learn the behind-the-scenes of what makes a radio station run, including but not limited to: audio editing, show preparation, broadcast operations, and other day-to-day responsibilities to keep things running smoothly. What We’re Looking For: • Have a drive to create great radio content, grow an audience, strengthen the brand, and be part of a team that takes pride in their work. Prior media experience is a plus. • Have a valid North Dakota’s driver’s license, the ability to pass a motor vehicle check, and satisfactory background check. Culture at Midwest Communications At Midwest Communications, Inc., we’re invested in the longevity and satisfaction of our employees. As a privately owned, family-founded company, we expect our team members to take ownership of their work while also enjoying a laid-back, collaborative atmosphere where growth and creativity are encouraged. You’ll have the tools and support of an established media company, along with the autonomy to get your work done and make the role your own. If this sounds like the position for you, we want to hear from you! Any additional documentation such as airchecks, audio/video samples, or cover letters can be sent to Talent and HR Coordinator, Lauryn Calkins, at [email protected]. Midwest Communications, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer by choice.
