Full description

A leading law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for its Irvine office. The role supports litigation attorneys through every phase of a case, from initiation and discovery through trial, post-trial findings, and appeals. The position calls for deep knowledge of litigation and trial procedure and of federal, state, and appellate court rules nationwide. Responsibilities include preparing pleadings and discovery documents for filing and service, including advanced filings such as complaints, motions for summary judgment, and documents under seal. The paralegal will conduct fact investigation, manage documents and files, and proactively track casework and deadlines, coordinating calendar and docket updates with the firm’s Docket & Calendar Team. Trial support is a core part of the job: coordinating exhibits and supporting materials and attending trial proceedings to provide on-site support. The role requires availability during core business hours and flexibility to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed. Candidates should have at least 8 years of law firm litigation paralegal experience, an ABA-approved paralegal certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree or some college is preferred. Experience with voluminous document productions and e-discovery, working knowledge of Superior, Federal, and U.S. District Court rules, and excellent writing skills are required. The salary for this non-exempt position is up to $170,000.
