VP Private Fund Operations Overview • The VP Private Fund Operations will lead operational and financial processes for private equity and venture capital portfolios. • Collaborate with investment and finance teams across multiple geographies to ensure seamless fund operations. • Manage liquidity planning, investment records, reconciliations, and operational reporting within established frameworks. • Coordinate with external service providers to maintain accurate fund records and ensure compliance with regulations. • Contribute to the operational foundation of dedicated private market vehicles, driving efficiency and accuracy. • Provide critical support for audit, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements in collaboration with relevant teams. • Engage in an entrepreneurial environment with direct access to senior decision-makers. • Gain exposure to global private equity and venture capital portfolios. VP Private Fund Operations Key Responsibilities & Duties • Develop and maintain short-term cash forecasts and long-term liquidity projections for fund operations. • Manage capital call and distribution workflows, ensuring compliance with approval frameworks. • Reconcile GP statements, internal records, and administrator reports, investigating discrepancies. • Review vehicle-level NAV packages and coordinate valuation inputs with relevant teams. • Maintain accurate records of commitments, distributions, and performance data for investments. • Coordinate reporting calendars and deliverables with service providers and international teams. • Prepare operational reports for management and support audit, tax, and regulatory requests. • Ensure compliance with fund documentation and escalate issues requiring specialized input. VP Private Fund Operations Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is required. • 5–10 years of experience in private markets investment operations, fund finance, or accounting. • Proficiency in liquidity forecasting, accounting reconciliations, and NAV review processes. • Practical understanding of private equity and venture capital fund structures and metrics. • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with investment accounting systems. • Experience with Luxembourg investment structures and cross-border arrangements is preferred. • CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification is advantageous. • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to work independently.
