As a Dispatcher at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, manage access control support, and help direct responses to security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.61 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and dispatch-related protocols in a manufacturing and industrial location. • Receive, prioritize, document, and relay routine and urgent requests for assistance, coordinating communications with on-site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate. • Monitor radios, telephones, alarms, cameras, access activity, and/or other dispatch systems; maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift records. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures. • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter as assigned, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: • CPR certification is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
