Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.63 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue12:30 AM - 08:30 AMWed12:30 AM - 08:30 AMThur12:30 AM - 08:30 AMFri12:30 AM - 08:30 AMSat12:30 AM - 08:30 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. • Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of activity within assigned government facilities and surrounding areas. • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and applicable procedures. • Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and appropriate site contacts. Minimum Requirements: • Possess an armed guard card or license. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Participate in industry-specific security training programs. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
