Rate of Pay: $29.00 per hour and $120.00 Daily Per Diem for those who qualify Description: Lays out and fabricates metal structural parts, such as plates, bulkheads, and frames, and braces them in position within hull of ship for welding. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years experience as 1 st class shipfitter • Outfitting experience • Must know Ship terminology • Must read blue prints to lay out and fabricate parts for ships • Must be able to burn and bevel with hand torch • Must pass fillet weld test using 7018 rods • Must pass drug test and E-Verify • Must be able to work all shifts Benefits: A limited benefit plan is available to Hutco, Inc.
