Company Description Fast Paced, Dynamic and Friendly Dermatology Clinic looking for a Part time Medical Assistant to work alongside the Dermatologists in our Centerville clinic. The Full-Time position is 38-40 hours per week. Typical schedules are 8-9 hour days (7:20am-4:45/5:00 pm) Monday-Fridays. This schedule may vary based on Clinic staffing requirements, Federal holidays and provider vacation schedules. A medical assistant certificate is preferred but NOT required. CNAs are encouraged to apply for on-the-job training as a medical assistant. Previous work in the medical field is a requirement. Job Description • Assist Physicians and other providers with examinations and surgical procedures • Answer patient’s questions about medications and wound care • Scribe and maintain patients’ medical records • Assist in surgery and minor procedures • Review medical history • Return Patient Phone calls • Clean and restock examination rooms • Sterilize instruments • Educate patients on and assist with cosmetic procedures Qualifications • Positive attitude • Motivated Self-Starter • Teamwork oriented • Caring, compassionate and patient focused • Punctual • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn • Experience working in the medical field Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
