IT Platform Analyst
Heartstream is building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology to continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments. Heartstream includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions.
Your Impact
As an IT Platform Analyst, you will play a key role in helping Heartstream establish and mature its independent IT operating model by providing dedicated ownership of critical enterprise platforms and business applications, centered on our SharePoint environment. You will partner with business stakeholders, scrum teams, and technology partners to analyze complex business challenges, design scalable solutions, and ensure the successful delivery and ongoing support of IT capabilities.
This role provides end-to-end accountability for platform performance, user adoption, release quality, and continuous improvement, helping Heartstream transition from inherited processes and systems to fit-for-purpose digital operations that support future growth.
In this role, you will:
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Drive platform ownership from solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, business process owners, and end users.
• Administer and configure SharePoint sites day to day — navigation, pages, permissions, groups, lists, and libraries — and serve as the first point of contact for user questions and access requests.
• Deploy and upgrade custom application packages, maintaining consistent governance, naming, and access models across sites.
• Act as the quality gate for new releases of our custom business applications: execute functional and regression testing, verify end-to-end workflows (forms, approvals, notifications, dashboards), and log and re-test defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Support user acceptance testing and translate stakeholder feedback into specific, actionable change requests.
• Progressively take on development work — starting with scoped configuration and content changes and growing toward features and new applications — through structured mentorship from the current solution owner.
• Monitor critical business processes and platform performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
• Influence process improvement and digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
• Build expertise in enterprise platforms while developing broad exposure to business operations across functions and geographies.
• Help establish sustainable support models, documentation, governance, and standards that enable long-term success and business continuity.
Our Commitment to Collaboration
• Your work will directly improve the quality of emergency medical services and enhance patient safety and survival rates by making high-quality care accessible to more people around the world. As part of a number one provider of therapeutic care solutions, your contribution will help us continue to save more lives every year. With every project, you'll be making a world of difference.
• This role can either be hybrid from our Bothell, WA office or you can work remotely within the United States.
You'll Thrive in this Role If:
• You have acquired 2+ years of experience in IT platforms, business systems analysis, application support, or an operational, administrative, or process-management role where you were accountable for running structured processes and solving problems systematically.
• You have experience participating in Agile delivery teams, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and release management activities.
• You have demonstrated success analyzing business processes and translating business needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Your skills include:
• Solution Design & Architecture
• Business Process Analysis
• Validation & User Acceptance Testing
• Platform & Application Support
• SLA Management
• KPI Monitoring & Reporting
• Continuous Improvement
• IT Service Management
• Stakeholder Management
• Training & End User Enablement
• Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving
• Attention to Detail & Quality Focus
• You possess strong business acumen and can balance technical requirements with business priorities.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline — or equivalent practical experience.
• Lean Foundation Certification or similar process improvement certifications are considered a plus.
• You demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills and are comfortable working with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating with limited supervision while managing competing priorities.
• You must be able to successfully perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
