This position is based in Aksia’s New York office and will offer significant responsibility and visibility across the investment process and will involve regular interaction with investment professionals, clients, and senior leadership. Responsibilities: Portfolio Construction & Management • Support portfolio construction and implementation across private credit funds, mandates, and customized client portfolios. • Analyze portfolio exposures across strategies, sectors, geographies, borrowers, sponsors, and risk characteristics. • Assist with deployment planning, liquidity management, and portfolio rebalancing activities. • Maintain portfolio monitoring frameworks, including leverage analysis, covenant tracking, watch lists, and risk reporting. Investment & Deal Analytics • Manage and maintain private credit transaction databases, loan tapes, and portfolio-level investment records. • Oversee weekly deal pipeline processes, including opportunity tracking, status reporting, and preparation of investment screening materials. • Develop and maintain comparable transaction and market terms databases to support underwriting and investment committee discussions. • Produce portfolio analytics and attribution reporting, including performance drivers, deployment trends, and exposure analysis. Data & Process Management • Serve as a key steward of portfolio data integrity across investment, reporting, and operational systems. • Identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows, portfolio analytics, and data management processes. • Support cross-functional initiatives involving investment teams, investor relations, operations, and technology groups. Qualifications: • 2–8 years of experience in private markets, leveraged finance, investment management, or a related analytical role • Strong quantitative capabilities, with the ability to synthesize investment, portfolio, and market data into actionable insights • High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage complex datasets and ensure data integrity across multiple systems • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute across multiple concurrent workstreams • Highly motivated, self-directed team player with a strong work ethic and ownership mindset • Interest in private markets and a desire to build long-term expertise in private credit portfolio construction and analytics The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Aksia provides a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor.
