We are expanding our team! Looking for an Orthodontic Assistant who is able to work in a fast paced environment with a positive attitude. Must be an outgoing and reliable team player with a strong work ethic. Duties include: • Help to maintain patient flow pattern by seating patients promptly and begin procedures • Place separators, elastic ties, and wires. • Prepare teeth for bonding • Remove braces and place lingual retainers • Monitor oral hygiene of patients, instructs on correct brushing • Sterilize instruments • Keeps drawers stocked, clean, and replenished • Communicate with patient/parent at each appointment and answer any questions • Take CBCT scans and iTero scans • Chart accurately using Dolphin software • Assist Orthodontist in any given procedure • Anticipate what doctor may need during appointment and takes action • Manage chair side time efficiently • Performs daily side work • Attend all other staff meetings and morning huddles • Abide by established office policies and procedures • Represent the practice in a positive way inside and outside of the office
