As a Security Officer in a commercial real estate setting, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time / Day Shift Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions. • Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when required. • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and service-related interactions in clear and accurate reports. Minimum Requirements: • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Customer service experience is preferred. • A guard card/license is preferred. • Access control/badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
