As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will support a welcoming, secure environment by screening people and property, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and facility personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location. • Screen individuals, packages, and/or designated items in accordance with established site procedures; document and report irregularities or prohibited items to appropriate personnel. • Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed. • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, loading areas, and parking locations; report observed concerns and complete required activity reports. Minimum Requirements: • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. • CPR certification is preferred. • X-Ray screening experience is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
