Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention. • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel. • Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: • Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish. • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. • A Guard Card or license is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
