Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room Shift Information 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Minimum Qualifications • Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program • Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Job Description The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and other areas of perioperative services for all patient populations. This role acts as a patient advocate and is accountable for meeting surgical nursing practice standards. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive nursing care by assessing patient needs, establishing nursing diagnoses, and developing care plans. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure robust patient assessments and comprehensive care. • Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments for all patients and conduct reassessments as necessary. • Effectively manage and address patient pain using appropriate pain management techniques. • Implement age-specific care practices and ensure compliance with training standards. • Maintain effective communication and teamwork with all personnel involved in patient care.
