Cardiac Catheterization Technologist Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our professional team. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that handles complex cardiac and vascular cases, including electrophysiology, structural heart procedures, and hybrid techniques. Unit Information The position is located in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab which is equipped with two labs. The facility is a 242-bed Level II Trauma center, providing advanced care and utilizing the latest technology in patient monitoring and data management. Shift Details • Shift Length: 10 hours • Schedule: Monday to Friday, consisting of four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. • On-call Requirements: Approximately 7-10 days in a 5-week cycle Responsibilities The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist will: • Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care. • Utilize EMR systems (Epic) for patient documentation and data management. • Handle equipment such as GE Maclab in a safe and efficient manner. • Stay current with advancements in cardiac technologies and procedures. Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a cardiac catheterization lab. • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA).
