Medical Technologist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in blood bank, chemistry, and limited microbiology. Key Responsibilities • Perform various laboratory tests and analyses on clinical specimens. • Ensure accuracy and quality of test results. • Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise. • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. • Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals as needed. Qualifications • Required certifications: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS. • Preferred experience in a clinical laboratory setting focused on specimen testing and analysis. • Experience with blood bank, chemistry, and limited microbiology is essential. Schedule Shift hours are from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM with varying schedules. Candidates must be available to work during major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, as well as one minor holiday from the following options: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve. Location This position is located in the vicinity of City, State. Please note that local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered.
