Job Summary/Purpose Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant administers physical therapy services and performs related duties. This role involves providing technical support to ensure effective and efficient delivery of therapy services. Department Description The Rehabilitation teams evaluate and treat patients experiencing injuries or conditions that have resulted in a decline in physical mobility or functional independence. A variety of specialized services are offered, including orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological and stroke rehabilitation, balance and dizziness rehabilitation, and chronic pain treatment through movement. The primary objective is to assist patients in their return to functional independence and community activities. Experience/Education/Qualifications • Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license. • Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
