Eligible Majors: Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Geotechnical or Geological Engineering. Key Learning Areas • Safe field and laboratory practices that reflect Terracon’s “Safety First” culture • ASTM, DOT, and COE testing standards • Proposal and technical report development • Project management fundamentals • Quality management systems that support reliable results • Effective client communication and consulting skills • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, preference given to those who complete their junior year before the summer of 2027 • Completed and passed an introduction to geotechnical engineering course • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history • Willing to travel to support remote projects and capable of driving long distances • Able to lift at least 50 pounds and traversing sites on foot for a full day
