Location: Philadelphia Main Line Area, PA Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $140,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy, well-established cardiology practice. This position will focus primarily on inpatient hospital rounding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers. Key Responsibilities Inpatient Hospital Rounding (Primary Responsibility) • Perform daily hospital rounds and manage hospitalized cardiology patients. • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress. • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. • Review diagnostic testing and laboratory results. • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record. • Assist with discharge planning and ensure appropriate continuity of care. Qualifications • Current Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. • Prior cardiology experience strongly preferred, particularly in inpatient cardiology or hospital-based care. • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, diagnostic testing, and treatment protocols. • Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage a busy patient population and prioritize clinical responsibilities. • Strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
