Position Title: Lecturer - Clarinet Appointment Type: Faculty Job Description: The Department of Music and Theatre at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa seeks a dynamic and experienced temporary instructor in clarinet from 1/1/2027 through 5/15/2027 at the rank of lecturer. The successful candidate will teach applied clarinet lessons, teach the clarinet portion of the woodwind techniques class, teach a weekly studio class, and direct the clarinet choir. Responsibilities: • Teach clarinet applied lessons • Teach the clarinet portion of the music education woodwind techniques course • Teach weekly studio class • Direct the clarinet choir Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
