Fleet Maintenance Coordinator II Ensure Corporate Fleet Vehicles, driven by our clients, are maintained and repaired timely and in a cost effective manner. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Receives incoming calls from Fleet Vendors or service facilities to grant authorization to repair fleet vehicles • Approve short term rental of vehicle during the time the company vehicle is in service. • Answers customer phone calls in a timely and professional manner. • Issues vehicle repair purchase orders for Fleet Maintenance customers. • Investigates and negotiates prices on purchase order requests pertaining to parts, labor, and rental cars etc. for best available pricing. • Submits any repair claims, which might be covered by manufacturer warranty. • Coordinate glass replacement • Emergency road service liaison between customer and vendor • Pays repair vendors. • Provide excellent customer service to customers (internal & external) and vendors. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum Three years of experience in vehicle repair industry • Preference for graduation from Vehicle Technician program • High School Diploma or equivalent • ASE certification required • After training will work a hybrid schedule (two days work from home) and rotating schedule to that includes Saturdays. • Possess understanding of mechanical repair work costs • Ability to analyze situation on a case by case basis and make decisions accordingly • Ability to understand and research materials in electronic repair manuals • Good verbal communication skills in order to interact with internal and external customers and repair shops. • Excellent customer service and time management skills. • Good attention to detail • Strong Computer skills and working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
