Job Description Salary Range: $38,000 - $42,000 Position Summary Assembles automotive quick connectors using manual, semi-automated and fully automated processes by performing the following duties: Essential Functions • Assembles O-rings, clips, shipping plugs & caps into parts according to part procedure • Understands the machine and its functions and operate according to the procedure, following all safety procedures • Reads and understands job procedure • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, as well as company policies • Conducts leak testing as required by part procedure • Conducts in-process parts inspection to ensure product quality and completeness • As designated, trains manufacturing associates in procedures and processes • Ensures daily production schedule is attained • Knowledge of Leading2Lean • Knowledge of SAP • Maintains a clean and organized work area, in compliance with 5S requirements • Performs and understands importance of processes in place to ensure machine is running accurately (such as running duds and/or use of gauges) • Keeps machines running with minimal downtime • Performs basic repair and setup Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computers and handheld scanners, as well as excellent attention to detail Education / Experience • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 6-12 months related light manufacturing experience required Additional Information This is a 2nd shift position.
