Description The Production Manger will oversee day-to-day production activities under direction from the Director of Operations, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments. • Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data. • Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects. • Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills. • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health. • Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment. • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing field, required. • 3 years’ supervisory/management experience. • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software. • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies, preferred. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of standing and walking through production facilities. • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times. • Regularly required to be exposed to outdoor elements.
