No prior experience is required—we're looking for individuals with great communication and customer service skills who are eager to learn the trade! As a Drain Technician, you’ll evaluate customer needs, provide repair options, and perform drain cleaning services. You’ll have the chance to work both independently and as part of a supportive team. In addition to a competitive wage there are excellent benefits including: • 100% paid insurance premiums on medical, dental, and vision for the employee • 401k & Roth 401k plans with up to a 4% company match • 100% paid long-term disability insurance • Paid life insurance plan • 2 floating holidays • 6 paid holidays • Vacation pay • Paid weekly • On-the-job training and opportunities for career growth Responsibilities Include: • Diagnose and clear drain blockages using cable machines, hydro-jetters, & other equipment • Perform sewer camera inspections to identify issues such as breaks, roots, or bellies • Repair or replace drain and sewer lines as needed (minor repairs or assisting with larger excavations) • Locate sewer and water lines using locating equipment • Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring understanding of system operation and any necessary maintenance • Identify opportunities to offer additional services, upgrades, or preventative maintenance • Consistently meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, or monthly performance goals • Fulfill on-call duties according to the department schedule Requirements • Experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or related field preferred • Valid plumbing apprenticeship required, may be obtained upon hire • Knowledge of residential and/or commercial sewer systems preferred • Excellent customer service skills • Valid driver’s license • Must meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) eligibility requirements
