We're looking for individuals with great communication and customer service skills who are eager to learn the trade! As an Excavation Laborer, you’ll evaluate customer needs, provide repair options, and perform drain cleaning services. In addition to a competitive wage there are excellent benefits including: • 100% paid insurance premiums on medical, dental, and vision for the employee • 401k & Roth 401k plans with up to a 4% company match • 100% paid long-term disability insurance • Paid life insurance plan • 2 floating holidays • 6 paid holidays • Vacation pay • Paid weekly • On-the-job training and opportunities for career growth Responsibilities Include: • Assist excavation crew with digging, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks • Prepare, clear, and clean job sites before and after excavation • Support the operation of excavation equipment by signaling or guiding machinery • Set up safety barriers, warning signs, and other site safety measures • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment • Measure and mark excavation areas according to site plans • Assist with drainage systems, pipe installation, or utility locating as needed Requirements • Previous construction or excavation experience preferred • Basic knowledge of excavation equipment and hand tools • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols • OSHA 10 or 30 safety training (preferred) • Excellent communication and customer service skills • A positive attitude and willingness to learn • Good character and ability to work well within a team • Valid driver’s license • Must meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) eligibility requirements • Neat, clean, and organized work habits • Strong work ethic
