Sugarbug Dental & Orthodontics – Oxnard, CA
The Opportunity: Redefining the Patient Journey
Are you a high-energy professional with a background in luxury hospitality, boutique healthcare, or VIP concierge services? Do you believe that the "waiting room" should feel like a five-star experience?
Sugarbug Dental & Orthodontics is not your typical dental office. For over a decade, we have set the gold standard for pediatric oral health in Ventura County. We are seeking a sophisticated, degree-educated Patient Experience Coordinator who understands that administrative excellence is the backbone of clinical success.
If you are a master of first impressions and a champion of organized workflows, we want to help you build a career just minutes from the coast in beautiful Oxnard.
Your Mission (Key Responsibilities)
•
VIP Concierge Management: Act as the face of the practice, greeting families with high-level professionalism and warmth.
•
Strategic Patient Flow: Orchestrate the "front-to-back" transition, ensuring clinical staff are optimized and patient wait times are non-existent.
•
Data Integrity & Management: Curate and maintain precise digital patient records and eligibility verification with a "zero-error" mentality.
•
Brand Ambassadorship: Engage with the public and pediatric patients to create a stress-free, premium environment.
•
Communication Hub: Manage multi-channel communications (phone, email, and digital portals) with the poise of a corporate executive.
Candidate Profile: What We Are Looking For
We are specifically seeking "Type A" professionals who possess:
•
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field (Highly Preferred).
•
Experience: 2+ years in a high-touch environment (e.g., Luxury Hotels, Private Medical Practices, VIP Concierge, or High-End Retail).
•
Bilingual Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is a significant advantage in serving our diverse community.
•
Soft Skills: Exceptional emotional intelligence, the ability to "read a room," and a genuine love for working in a pediatric-focused environment.
•
Technical Savvy: Quick to learn dental software and digital communication tools.
Why Join Sugarbug?
•
Compensation: $31,000 – $54,000 annually (commensurate with education and specialized experience).
•
Location: Located in the heart of Oxnard, CA—a short drive from the ocean.
•
Culture: Join an established, growing practice that values professional development and internal promotion.
•
Impact: Be the reason a child feels safe and a parent feels heard.
