This position is responsible for overseeing Fuel Truck Drivers to meet customer needs and resolve issues while ensuring the highest level of safety. Primary Responsibilities • Maintains an up-to-date listing of assigned drivers • Ensures access to an up-to-date route sheet for each scheduled route • Ensures that each scheduled route is appropriately covered by utilizing available relief or substitute drivers • Maintains an accurate daily attendance roster of drivers • Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations • Oversee transportation of fuel, inventory levels, daily pricing, market movement, warehousing, deliveries, reloading with minimal downtime and efficient route planning • Ensure that drivers clock their time accurately and that any write-in time is accurately reflected in the daily report • Coordinate with drivers to resolve any issues, problems, or concerns that arise during delivery • Perform a variety of clerical support duties as assigned Compensation and Benefits • Competitive salary based on experience and geographic location. • Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and more • Paid time off to include vacation time, six paid holidays and sick pay. • Monthly bonus opportunities • 401(k) plans with company match • Company paid life insurance and short-term disability Requirements • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Must be available to take calls on weekends and evenings • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in previous fuel dispatch
