The Sorter Helper sorts mail in a variety of classifications as it is processed on inkjet and inserting equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES Sort mail for a variety of USPS classifications. Operate strapping machine. Read and understand postal sorting documentation. Operate pallet jack to move mail. Assist Operator in feeding and running machine. Complete appropriate sorting documentation. Complies with DCG ONE’s environmental policies. QUALIFICATIONS Previous mail sorting experience preferred. Previous inkjet or inserting experience a plus. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position works on the production floor in an industrial warehouse setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
