Job Details: Job Location: Avflight Plattsburgh - Plattsburgh, NY, Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Education Level: High School/GED Equivalent, Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, Parking Service Shuttle Bus Ambassador General Purpose of Job: The Parking Service shuttle Bus Ambassador is responsible for operating shuttle buses, performing daily bus inspections, and assisting customers as needed. Duties: Operate shuttle bus for parking lot customers in accordance with specific standards Maintain a visible company presence during inbound and outbound flights Assist customers with luggage to and from curb Perform and record daily inspections of shuttle bus Maintain the cleanliness and minor maintenance of the shuttle bus in accordance with specific standards Manually remove snow from the immediate vicinity of parking booth and automated parking equipment Maintain compliance with all FAA, Federal, State, Local and Avflight safety policies and procedures Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications: Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate basic computer skills with the ability to easily grasp the functionality and concepts of company software for paperwork and computer transactions Ability to write clearly and legibly Ability to work efficiently under time constraints Must be available and willing to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays Must be 18 years or older High School diploma or GED equivalent, Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test, have valid Driver's license with a good driving record within company standards Must have authorization to work in the U.S. Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment Competency/Behavioral Requirements: Be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude Be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfill obligations Strong Attention to Detail and multi-tasking skills Maintain composure, keep emotions in check, control anger, and avoid aggressive behavior even in difficult situations Accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations and be open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges Be sensitive to others’ needs and feelings and be understanding and helpful on the job Physical Demands: Must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions.
