Job Details: Job Location: Avflight Plattsburgh - Plattsburgh, NY, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School/GED Equivalent, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, Parking Service Supervisor General Purpose of Job: The Parking Service Supervisor is responsible for monitoring Parking Service Attendants and Shuttle Bus Ambassadors. They are responsible for the overall smooth operation of the parking service, including assisting customers and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the areas in and round the parking area and booth. Duties: Accept payment for parking in accordance with specific standards Assist customers with automated parking lot payment systems and parking Perform daily inspections of automated parking systems Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the areas in and about the parking area and booth Manually remove snow from the immediate vicinity of parking booth and automated parking equipment Operate shuttle bus for parking lot customers in accordance with specific standards Maintain a visible company presence during inbound and outbound flights Assist customers with luggage to and from curb Perform and record daily inspections of shuttle bus Maintain the cleanliness and minor maintenance of the shuttle bus in accordance with specific standards Monitor work of Parking Service Attendants and Parking Service Shuttle Bus Ambassadors to ensure they are within the outlined standards Monitor parking system data and generate reports Monitor and reconcile daily payments in parking system Reconcile and deposit collected cash as needed Assist with customer issues and complaints Perform daily inspections of automated parking systems Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the areas in and about the parking area and booth Monitor snow removal of parking lot, kiosks, and parking booth and coordinate additional snow removal as necessary Maintain compliance with all FAA, Federal, State, Local and Avflight safety policies and procedures Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications: Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate basic computer skills with the ability to easily grasp the functionality and concepts of company software for paperwork and computer transactions Ability to write clearly and legibly Ability to work efficiently under time constraints Must be available and willing to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays Must be 18 years or older High School diploma or GED equivalent, 2 years related experience, Aviation experience a plus Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test, have valid Driver's license with a good driving record within company standards Must have authorization to work in the U.S. Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment Competency/Behavioral Requirements: Be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude Be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfill obligations Strong Attention to Detail and multi-tasking skills Maintain composure, keep emotions in check, control anger, and avoid aggressive behavior even in difficult situations Accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations and be open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges Be sensitive to others’ needs and feelings and be understanding and helpful on the job Physical Demands: Must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions.
