We are upfront about that because the structure is predictable and the weekends are yours. Depart Monday morning On the road Monday through Thursday/Friday Overnights 3 to 4 nights per week, depending on the zone Return home on Friday Territory is divided into 4 zones, one zone per week, so you cover the same general area all week. You stay in a hotel, not a sleeper What you will do Safely deliver helium compressed gas cylinders to scheduled, repeat customers Load and unload cylinders and return empties to the fill plant Perform daily vehicle safety inspections Complete delivery paperwork and maintain DOT compliance Build relationships with regular customers and help manage their inventory needs Run a scheduled local route delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any issues Keep load manifests and vehicle paperwork accurate and balanced with truck counts Build good customer relationships and help them stay ahead of their cylinder needs Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and keep the truck clean and professional   Benefits and Perks $3000 sign on bonus Home weekends Hourly pay Steady, full-time day shift position with overtime available Paid holidays (seven) plus two floating/flexible holidays Year-round position - no seasonal layoffs Up to $2,000 (annual) Safe Driving bonus Up to $400 (annual) reimbursements for boots and pants Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability insurance options available Company paid short term disability Paid Time Off accrual of up to 120 hours per year, with up to 40 hours that carry over 401-K with a 50% match up to 6% HSA contribution match up to $50/pay period Six weeks of paid parental leave Driving incentives Maine Oxy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Qualifications: What you need Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement 1 year of driving experience or driving school training within the past 4 years High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, read highway signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports The work and the truck Brand new trailer and tractor Routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs, occasionally 76 to 100+ lbs Frequent bending, standing, walking, reaching, and handling Outdoor work in temperatures from -10 to over 100 degrees Ability to detect leaking gas from cylinders by sound or smell Ready to apply?
