As Complex Chief Engineer, you will keep two resorts safe, reliable, and beautifully maintained, and lead the team that keeps guests from ever noticing the building. Lead preventive maintenance, capital projects, and energy performance so guests never notice an equipment problem. What You'll Do Including but not limited to: Lead the engineering team at both resorts, scheduling around the occupancy and event forecast Run preventive maintenance that fixes root causes, not repeat symptoms Plan and deliver capital projects and renovations on schedule and on budget Lead hurricane preparedness and storm recovery at both resorts Keep both resorts inspection-ready, safe, and efficient, with utility costs under control What You Bring 8+ years in hotel or resort engineering, with 3+ years leading a team Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, and kitchen systems Capital project management experience, including budgets and contractor oversight Knowledge of Florida code and life-safety requirements Forecasting and critical thinking, with the ability to build and manage maintenance and capital budgets Experience with Transcendent preventive maintenance software, preferred A preventive mindset: you find the failing system before a guest does, and stay calm and decisive when one fails anyway Experience in upscale or full-service resort hospitality, including Hilton or Marriott, preferred Why You'll Love It Here Leadership role across a complex of two resorts Investment in your technical and leadership growth A team that solves problems together About Prime Group Prime Group's vertically integrated approach unifies multiple real estate disciplines under a single roof, sharing a multifaceted vision of improved, sustainable real estate development through diverse strengths, strategic affiliates, and talented in-house professionals.
