Die Corrector, [Shift] Pay: $22.00 to $35.00 per hour Location: Indianapolis, IN Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm with some overtime Who we are Alexandria Industries has been making custom aluminum extrusions since 1966. About the job We are hiring a Die Corrector for our Die Shop. As a Die Corrector, you will maintain, correct, and improve the extrusion dies that shape our aluminum parts, so every part meets customer specifications. Safety always comes first. We cross-train within the Die Shop, so you will keep growing. What a Die Corrector does • Analyze die and temperature data before making a correction • Prepare and correct dies for the extrusion process • Read blueprints and measure parts to confirm they meet specifications • Work with press teams and die vendors to solve die problems Required • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to read blueprints and die drawings • Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) • Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision • Comfortable in a noisy, warm manufacturing setting, with team lifts for items over 40 lbs.
